Precautions for use of corundum protection tube thermocouple

Author:Site Editor     Publish Time: 03-12-2018      Origin:Site

Corundum tube products have a long-term use temperature of 1600 ° C, high product density, good thermal shock resistance, acid and alkali resistance, and erosion resistance. But can not withstand collision, easy to brittle.

Precautions for use:

1. Eliminate collision. The corundum tube is a non-metallic ceramic material. The collision will break the protective tube.                                                                                                                                                        2. Install correctly. The 2 meter thermocouple is relatively long and cannot be installed sideways. It must be fixed during installation, and vibration at the industrial site will cause damage.                                                3. Leave enough room for expansion. Care should be taken to avoid the rupture of the King's casing during the thermal expansion process.                                                                                                                            4. Avoid drastic changes in temperature. When inserting a thermocouple into the furnace at a high temperature, be sure to allow the protection tube to have sufficient warm-up time. It must be slow to withdraw the thermocouple from the furnace, otherwise it will burst due to the sharp change of the temperature of the corundum tube. Remember not to pull it out and put it directly on the ground.
